I use to grease my yamaha cable with a grease gun with the pointed nozzle and a tubeless tyre valve stem with the valve removed. the metal end went over the small end of the cable and the gun was inserted into the rubber end 1 shot on my airgrease gun had the grease coming out the other end a bit messy but i only done it once and never had to replace the cable, same for the clutch and brake but a bit of mods required for diff cable sizes eg pipe and rubber inner tube to get a seal
